Please be advised that on 24 November 2025, Matthew Byrnes and Andrew Hewitt of Grant Thornton Australia Limited were appointed Joint and Several Administrators of Metro 1 Travel and Technology Pty Ltd (Administrators Appointed) (“the Company”), who own and operate the Rail Online booking platform.
The Joint and Several Administrators are currently assessing the prospects of a potential sale and/or recapitalisation of the Company. While this assessment is taking place, the Rail Online booking platform will not be operational, and rail tickets will not be available for purchase via this platform.
